Millicent does not just use words to describe what she sees; she creates stories and scenes that take the reader to somewhere new and unexpected, freeing their minds.
In the late 1980s to 1990's, Millicent was a founding member of Manchester's first Black Women's Poetry group(s) NAILA and then BLACKSCRIBE.
Presently, she is writing for fun and to inform the reader.
To date, one article she wrote called "WAR", generated 1,033 views before Facebook objected and she had to repost for her audience's right to view.
